Interesting how Samuel Herd mocks and minimizes Anthony Morris' military service saying that Tony was a not a Green Beret.
Where does Sam say that about about Tony?
i’m hearing paraphrasing like “we just don’t know” .
is this regarding 1914?
or micheal the arch angel?.

The Governing Body are notorious for reversing previous doctrines with no discussion. Where are the scriptures on the reversal of ''field service hours''? Where are the scriptures on the reversal of ''beards''?
These new ''Governing Body Clowns'' know that they can flip/flop and the rank and file will eat it up. More proof that they are making things up as they go along. There's no divine guidance of any kind among them... just stupid, mislead followers.
luke 22:14 so when the hour came, he reclined at the table along with the apostles.
and he said to them: “i have greatly desired to eat this passover with you before i suffer; 16 for i tell you, i will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of god.” 17 and accepting a cup, he gave thanks and said: “take this and pass it from one to the other among yourselves, 18 for i tell you, from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.”.
19 also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “this means my body, which is to be given in your behalf.

Matthew 27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

STUDY ARTICLE 2
19 Is it any wonder that Jesus arranged for us to observe the Memorial of his death each year? When we do, we benefit ourselves and others in many ways. (Isa. 48:17, 18) We grow in our love for Jehovah and Jesus. We show how much we appreciate what they have done for us. We strengthen our bonds with our fellow believers. And we may help others learn how they too can enjoy the blessings that the ransom makes possible. Let us do all we can, then, to be ready for this year’s Memorial—the most important day of the year!
If I read Luke 22:14-20, Jesus only extended an invitation to his apostles. Jesus never invited anyone that wasn't going to rule with him in heaven. There were no observers in the room, nor an invitation to non-Christians.
Jesus never arranged for anyone to fill a seat and observe the Memorial. The whole point of the observation and invitation of the Memorial is for the Governing Body demonstrate and consolidate their power over the rank & file!
I zoomed in on this photo of Geoffrey Jackson. You can clearly see that this has been photoshopped. Look at how the hair makes a straight line on the top of his lip. Also, everything looks unproportioned. FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!

So we should expect that new Governing Body members will always be American citizens, and any idea a truly international and ethically diverse Faithful slave, will only exist in our dreams.

So it seems that what we have here with the Governing Body is almost a case of apostolic succession where new members of the Governing Body are chosen from among their own kind.
Exactly! An all American White Boys Club! Samuel Herd is the only non-white...used as a Religious pacifier.

Are they more likely to appoint someone they know well or someone they've never met?
My point is that Jesus never enters the picture in appointing these 2 new Governing Body members. The Watchtower Society is just a man-made Business Corporation disguising as a Religion. There are no ''faithful and discreet slaves'' on this earth, and if there were, the Society would put them to a better use in the teaching and preaching work. These 2 brothers are just corporate men.
As Anony Mous stated: Both of them were already lackeys at the GB.

LESSON 54
Jesus is the Head of the Christian congregation. (Ephesians 5:23) Today, from his position in heaven, Jesus directs his followers on earth by means of a “faithful and discreet slave.” (Read Matthew 24:45.) Having received an appointment from Jesus himself, the “slave” would have a certain amount of authority but would remain a slave of Christ and serve Christ’s brothers. Who is that slave? How does the slave care for us?
According to this article, Jesus is the head of the Christian congregation. Jesus himself chooses and directs the ''faithful and discreet slave.'' The ''faithful and discreet slave'' remain a slave to Christ and serve brothers all over the world. NO WHERE in this article does it mention that the Governing Body in New York have any authority on who is appointed as a slave or what kind of appointment they receive.
The Watchtower—Study Edition | February 2024
ON WEDNESDAY, January 18, 2023, a special announcement appeared on jw.org, stating that Brothers Gage Fleegle and Jeffrey Winder had been appointed to serve as members of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Both brothers have a long history of faithful service to Jehovah.
Gage Fleegle and his wife, Nadia
Jeffrey Winder and his wife, Angela
If Jesus himself chooses and directs the ''faithful and discreet slave'' from all over the world, who really made the decision on appointing the 2 new Governing Body members? Was it really Jesus? Or, was it the Governing Body choosing two of their own, who have a long history at Bethel and were well known to the Governing Body.
NO WHERE IN THIS ARTICLE DOES IT STATE THAT JESUS CHOSE BROTHER FLEEGLE AND BROTHER WINDER FOR THIS APPOINTMENT!
on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.
Anthony Morris always wanted a singing career. Since he was a big follower of Prince and Morris Day, he moved to Minnesota and paid big $$$$$$$ to Morris Day to switch places and move to Lumberton, North Carolina and hide. Since Morris Day hasn't had a singing career for over 20 years and all of his fans forgot what he looked like, Anthony Morris will now become the new MORRIS DAY AND THE TIME!

11 if a workmate asks, for example, why we do not celebrate birthdays, consider: could he be wondering whether we are allowed to have a good time?
or might he feel that our position will dampen the company’s team spirit?
Questions From Readers
Many of Jehovah’s Witnesses observe wedding anniversaries. A birthday is an anniversary of when you were born. So why celebrate wedding anniversaries and not birthday anniversaries?
Well, early in this century, Bible Students, as Jehovah’s Witnesses were then known, did take note of birthdays. Many of them kept small books called Daily Heavenly Manna. These contained a Bible text for each day, and many Christians put a tiny photograph on the pages corresponding to the birthdays of fellow Bible Students. Also, The Watch Tower of February 15, 1909, related that at a convention in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S.A., Brother Russell, then president of the Society, was ushered onto the platform. Why? He was given a surprise birthday present of some boxes of grapefruit, pineapples, and oranges. That gives us a glimpse of the past. To put matters in their context, recall that during that period, Bible Students also commemorated December 25 as the anniversary of Jesus’ birth, or birthday. It was even customary to have Christmas dinner at the Brooklyn headquarters.
